The Wealth Management investment process is driven by old fashioned sound business practice - referring to the fact that beside macro economics, we also involve a number of behavioural aspects in our analysis of the financial markets and our choice of portfolio allocation across asset classes.

Macro analysis is important, but in our perception, other types of analysis are equally important.

As an example, it is important for us to analyze the position in the market of various types of investors. If the positions are large and leveraged (financed by mortgages), it could be a danger signal of large price corrections lurking around the corner. On the other hand, 'underinvested' assets with 'light' positions might turn out to be very attractive.

It is equally interesting for us to know how consensus (market average) thinks. If the expectations of consensus to economic growth and corporate earnings are already exorbitant, the fact that we look optimistically at these perimeters are not necessarily a reason to buy. It is the news flow's ability to surprise us in a positive or a negative way which controls the pricing of financial assets - not already known information and expectations that have been calculated into the market prices.

In this way, we estimate a number of behavioural and technical factors of the market, and in order to support this process, we have built a number of unique models and tools that illustrate and quantify these aspects of the market.
